Operating Equipment: Use devices like gamma cameras and PET scanners to track how the radioactive tracer travels through a patients organs and tissues.
Radiation Safety: Implement safety protocols to protect themselves, the patient, and other staff members from unnecessary radiation exposure.
Image Processing: Evaluate the quality of the scanned images and provide the data analysis to a physician or radiologist for official interpretation.
