Role & responsibilities

Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations including inbound, outbound, transportation, and warehousing.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Optimise logistics cost, lead time, and service levels across the supply chain.
- Manage inventory movements and ensure alignment with production and dispatch schedules.

2. Customs Clearance & Compliance
- Handle complete import/export customs clearance processes, ensuring timely filing and clearance of shipments.
- Review and validate documentation such as:
- Bill of Entry (BOE)
- Shipping Bills
- Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, COO, MSDS, Etc.
- Ensure correct HSN classification, valuation, and duty calculations in compliance with customs laws.
- Liaise with Customs House Agents (CHAs), customs authorities, and regulatory bodies for approvals and issue resolution.
- Monitor changes in customs laws, tariffs, and trade regulations and implement updates.

SEZ & EOU Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with SEZ Act, Rules, and EOU provisions under Foreign Trade Policy.
- Manage:
- Duty-free import and procurement processes for SEZ/EOU units
- Bonding, debonding, and movement of goods between SEZ, EOU, and DTA
- Net Foreign Exchange (NFE) compliance and reporting requirements
- Ensure timely filing of statutory documents such as:
- SOFTEX, ARE-1, LUT/Bond
- Quarterly/Annual Performance Reports (QPR/APR)
- Monitor compliance with procurement rules, domestic tariff area (DTA) transactions, and deemed exports.

4. Documentation & Audit
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all logistics and customs transactions.
- Prepare and manage documentation for internal and external audits (Customs, SEZ, DGFT).
- Ensure compliance with statutory registers, bond registers, and inventory records.
- Develop documentation control systems and compliance
