Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician Intern to join our NABL-accredited laboratory. The intern will assist laboratory professionals in performing sample testing, maintaining laboratory documentation, operating instruments, and ensuring compliance with NABL guidelines, ISO/IEC 17025 (or ISO 15189 for medical labs), laboratory SOPs, and safety procedures. This internship provides practical exposure to laboratory testing, quality systems, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, label, and register samples accurately.
- Assist in sample preparation and laboratory testing as per approved SOPs.
- Operate laboratory equipment under supervision.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety standards.
- Prepare reagents, chemicals, and standard solutions.
- Record test observations and results accurately in registers, Excel, or LIMS.
- Assist in equipment calibration, maintenance, and documentation.
- Follow Positive Laboratory Practices (GLP) and NABL quality requirements.
- Support internal audits, quality documentation,



and record management.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of samples and laboratory waste.
- Report any deviations, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Eligibility
- Diploma/B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), or related Life Science discipline.
- Freshers or students seeking internship are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety practices.
- Understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word).
