Role & responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, fabricated components, hardware, electrical items, MEP materials, and project-specific requirements.
- Source new vendors, evaluate supplier capabilities, and build a reliable vendor network.
- Float RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize purchase orders.
- Ensure procurement activities align with quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers and strategic partners.
- Monitor supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery, and service.
- Conduct periodic vendor evaluations and identify opportunities for supplier development.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure uninterrupted material availability.

Inventory & Planning
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Projects, Design, and Stores teams for procurement planning.




- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to avoid shortages and excess inventory.
- Ensure timely procurement to support manufacturing schedules and project deadlines.
- Track pending purchase orders and expedite deliveries where required.

Cost Optimization & Compliance
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
- Analyze market trends, material pricing, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation requirements.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to read technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Positive analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
