We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our Data Center Operations team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our data center infrastructure. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a agile and fast-paced environment.

Role Summary - System Administrator - Data Center Operations

Responsibilities:

Server Management:
• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software, OS installation and mandatory Linux environment.
• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Conduct regular system updates and patch management.

Server Assembling, knowledge of server components, HBA, RAID, Remote management, etc

Network Infrastructure:

Basic troubleshooting with network connectivity.

Data Storage:
• Manage and maintain storage systems, including SAN and NAS solutions.
• Implement data backup and recovery strategies.
• Monitor storage capacity and performance.

Documentation:




• Create and update system documentation, including configurations and procedures.
• Maintain an inventory of hardware, software, and network assets.

Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff members.

Emergency Response:
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.

Desired Skills:
- Graduate / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator in a data center environment.
- In-depth knowledge of server hardware, and operating systems.
- Experience with storage solutions and backup/recovery processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
