Job Title: Material Manager

We are looking for candidate 8–12 years of experience in Materials Management in a Electrical / Electronic components, Parts, Switchgears, manufacturing industry. (Experience in Resistors Industry is highly desired.)Mandatory: Proven experience in managing suppliers across China, Taiwan, and other Asian countries.

Role:

To manage procurement of raw materials, components, consumables, machinery, and services required for manufacturing operations while ensuring cost efficiency, timely availability, vendor reliability, and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Planning:

Plan procurement based on production plans, BOM, and material requirement planning (MRP).Ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and spare parts required for production.Coordinate with Production, Planning, and Stores departments for material requirements.

2. Sourcing:

Identify, evaluate, and develop new Sources for exhiting as well as new purchase.
- 2. 1. Vendor Development & Management:

Identify,



evaluate, and develop current vendors for raw materials and components.Conduct vendor audits and performance evaluations.Maintain a reliable supplier base to ensure continuity of supply.

3. Price Negotiation & Cost Control:

Negotiate with suppliers to achieve best price, payment terms, and delivery schedules.Monitor market trends and raw material price fluctuations.Implement cost reduction initiatives and value engineering.

4. Purchase Order Management:

Experience in procurement of Capital Goods such as Plant Machinery, Production Equipment, Utilities, Office Infrastructure, Test & Measurement Equipment, and Industrial Automation Systems.Review purchase requisitions and generate Purchase Orders (PO).Ensure all purchase orders are issued as per company policy.Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.

5. Coordination with Internal Departments:
