Job Purpose

To lead the planning, execution, and delivery of heavy equipment and plant engineering projects — from design and fabrication through installation and commissioning.



This role requires robust technical grounding in heavy machinery/plant systems combined with proven project leadership across cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

· Own end-to-end project delivery for heavy equipment/plant projects — scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety

· Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocation, and Gantt-based schedules for fabrication, assembly, and site installation phases

· Coordinate with design/engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and manufacturability of plant equipment

· Manage procurement of raw materials (steel plate, structural sections, castings, etc.) and long-lead equipment items

· Liaise with fabrication shop floor, QA/QC, and site erection teams to ensure adherence to drawings, codes (ASME, AWS, IS, EN as applicable), and client specifications
