Role Description

This full-time in office role for an OT Pharmacist is based in Chennai. The OT Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the availability of medications, verifying the accuracy of prescriptions, maintaining precise records, and coordinating with medical staff to ensure proper drug administration during operations. Responsibilities include verifying dosage, maintaining regulatory compliance, handling stocking and inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of drugs to the Operation Theatre.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in pharmacy practices, including understanding drug formulations, dosages, and potential interactions.
- Experience in inventory management, stocking, and supply chain practices in a hospital or clinical setting.




- Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and operating protocols for secure medication handling.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with medical staff.
- Proficiency in using healthcare information systems or pharmacy management software is desirable.
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field with a valid license to practice pharmacy in India.
- Previous experience as a pharmacist in an Operation Theatre setting is preferred but not mandatory.
