Job Summary

The Sales Officer – Beverage Division is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market coverage, managing distributors, increasing retail penetration, ensuring product availability, and building strong customer relationships across the assigned territory in Chennai. The role involves extensive field sales, distributor management, retail execution, and collection of payments while promoting the company's beverage portfolio.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive primary and secondary sales.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Increase market share within the assigned territory.
- Execute company sales strategies effectively.

Distributor Management
- Manage and develop distributors within the assigned territory.




- Monitor distributor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Improve distributor productivity and profitability.
- Conduct regular distributor meetings and performance reviews.

Retail Coverage
- Visit retailers according to the approved beat plan.
- Ensure maximum outlet coverage.
- Appoint recent retailers and expand market reach.
- Ensure product availability in all assigned outlets.

Merchandising & Visibility
- Ensure proper product placement and shelf visibility.
- Execute trade promotions and display activities.
- Maintain merchandising standards at retail outlets.
- Monitor promotional material usage.

Market Development
- Identify new retail outlets and institutional customers.
- Monitor competitor pricing, activities, and market trends.
- Provide regular market intelligence and feedback.
- Support new product launches and promotional campaigns.

Collections
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
