About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated ITOM Discovery Administrator (Sr. Developer) with strong technical expertise to configure, maintain, and optimize the ServiceNow Discovery application. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely population of the CMDB while working closely with cross-functional teams (Compute, Network, Security).

Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain the Discovery application post-implementation.

Collaborate with Configuration Manager to ensure accurate CMDB population.

Interface with Compute, Network & Security teams for access and permissions.

Troubleshoot & resolve discovery errors related to access/permissions.

Assure timely completion of scheduled discovery jobs.

Validate and test Discovery functionality post-upgrades.





Monitor environment changes & update Discovery solution accordingly.

Manage downloads from the ServiceNow Store (CMDB Classes, Discovery patterns).

Add/update schedules, IP ranges, and credentials for recent devices & environments.

Qualifications & Skills

8-10 years IT experience, with hands-on ServiceNow ITOM Discovery expertise.

Strong knowledge of Networking, Systems Administration, and JavaScript.

Proven experience in Discovery configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
