Program Overview

SAVOmart Store Growth & Marketing Internship is a high-impact, hands-on program designed for ambitious graduates looking to master hyperlocal retail strategy.

Over a 6-month duration, interns pivot from core strategic learning to full-scale operational execution, driving customer acquisition, competitive offense, and customer experience across assigned store catchments.

6-month Journey Breakdown

Month 1: Induction, Analysis & Strategy Formulation
- Week 1 (Office Induction): Work alongside the Growth and Net Promoter Score (NPS) teams. Undergo intensive orientation detailing SAVOmart's Customer Value Proposition (CVP), hyperlocal catchments, shopper demographics, and cross-functional collaborations with design and customer support teams.
- Week 2 (On-Ground Deployment): Deploy to your assigned retail store. Spend the first 2 days executing customer meet-and-greets. The remainder of the week will be spent mapping a 500-meter store radiusconducting consumer surveys, identifying physical footfall barriers, and charting local competitor density.




- Week 3 (Growth Planning): Return to the corporate office to design a comprehensive Hyperlocal Store Growth & Competitor Offense Plan, refined under direct leadership and manager mentorship.
- Week 4 (Execution Kick-off): Transition back to the field to launch your approved growth tactics within the stores immediate locality.

Months 2 & 3: Sustained Store Execution
- Spend 2 months deeply embedded in the same store ecosystem, deploying optimized local marketing playbooks, fixing localized operational bottlenecks, and scaling customer acquisition strategies. Months 4 to 6: Advanced Store Rotation & Scaling
- Following the initial 3-month cycle, top-performing interns will rotate to a new store location to replicate growth frameworks, test adaptability, and manage a completely current demographic footprint.
