Description Area Legal Manager ((APF Central) - Gurgaon

Key
Responsibilities
1. Legal Due Diligence
- Conduct
legal scrutiny and title verification of property documents for Home
Loans, Loan Against Property (LAP), and Affordable Housing cases.
- Examine
ownership chain, title flow, encumbrances, revenue records,
approvals, and statutory compliances.
- Identify
legal risks and recommend suitable mitigants prior to loan
disbursement.
- Provide
legal opinions within defined turnaround timelines (TAT).

2. Mortgage Documentation
- Ensure
accurate execution of loan and security documents and creation of
mortgages.
- Verify
compliance with legal documentation requirements before loan
disbursement.
- Support
Operations and Sales teams in resolving documentation-related issues
and deficiencies.
- Monitor
registration processes and ensure safekeeping of original property
documents.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- LLB/LLM
from a recognized university.
- 5 -
07years of experience in legal due diligence and mortgage
documentation, preferably in Housing Finance, NBFC, or Banking




sectors.
- Robust
understanding of property laws, registration processes, and title
verification.
- Good
analytical, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability
to manage multiple cases while adhering to strict TATs.
