Role Description
The Title Searcher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ludhiana. The Title Searcher will review property records, perform title searches, and verify chains of title to identify any issues affecting ownership.



Daily responsibilities include examining deeds, liens, and encumbrances, confirming legal descriptions, and preparing clear, accurate reports for internal stakeholders. The role also involves coordinating with legal, credit, and operations teams to resolve title-related discrepancies and support secure lending decisions. The Title Searcher is expected to maintain meticulous documentation, adhere to regulatory and company standards, and meet turnaround times for assigned cases.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Liens and Escrow processes, with the ability to identify and interpret encumbrances and related obligations.
- Proficiency in Title Searches and understanding of Chain of Title to verify property ownership history and detect potential issues.
- Experience working with Deeds and other property-related legal documents, including reading, analyzing, and validating information.
