Role & responsibilities
- Plan shift operations and allocate manpower based on production requirements.
- Ensure optimum deployment of manpower across all production shifts.
- Achieve daily and monthly production targets in line with customer demand.
- Supervise and manage day-to-day shop floor operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure timely availability and execution of production work orders.
- Coordinate with Stores and the Laser Department to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
- Monitor and ensure proper palletization and handling of finished goods (FG).
- Ensure accurate and timely closure of production work orders against actual output.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities through Quality Control Circle (QCC) initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping (5S) standards across the shop floor.
