Role Description
The Safety Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at Metalscope India Private Limited in Chennai. This role is responsible for monitoring and implementing health, safety, and occupational hygiene practices across project sites, ensuring compliance with legal and company safety standards. The Safety Officer will conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective and preventive measures. The role includes organizing and delivering safety training programs, maintaining safety documentation and incident records, and coordinating accident investigations to determine root causes and implement improvements.
