Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Kolkata. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, prepare and maintain general ledger entries, and reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts. The role includes preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting,



and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The Accountant will process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams, responding to financial queries, and supporting audits and financial reviews.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as MS Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
