Job Summary

The ITI Fitter – Technical Helper will support the Operations & Maintenance team in the inspection, operation, maintenance, and repair of cryogenic plant equipment, including cryogenic pumps, electric motors, DG engines, compressors, pipelines, valves, and associated mechanical systems. The role involves assisting in preventive and breakdown maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability, and adhering to strict safety and quality standards applicable to cryogenic operations.





Key Responsibilities

Assist in the operation and maintenance of cryogenic plant equipment and utilities.
Support preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of cryogenic pumps, electric motors, DG engines, compressors, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
Assist in the assembly, dismantling, alignment, and installation of pumps, motors, couplings, bearings, seals, and mechanical components.
Assist in replacing mechanical components such as bearings, gaskets, oil seals, mechanical seals, belts, and couplings.
Support maintenance of pipelines, valves, flanges, and fittings used in cryogenic systems.
Assist during equipment shutdowns, overhauls, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Safely handle maintenance tools, lifting equipment, and spare parts.
Support emergency maintenance activities and other operational requirements as assigned.
