Job Description: E-commerce Operations Lead

Designation: Deputy General Manager (DGM) – E-commerce Operations Function: E commerce / Digital Business

Role Summary
We are looking for a seasoned E-commerce Operations Lead to own the end-to-end
performance of our website business — from catalogue and site operations to sales, P&L;,
and brand relationships. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on owning
numbers, running a lean and effective online storefront, and building a high performing
team.

Key Responsibilities
Website & Catalogue Operations
Own the full catalogue lifecycle — onboarding, listing quality, categorization, content,
and pricing accuracy across the website
Drive website operations end-to-end: uptime, UX/UI improvements, checkout flow,
search & discovery, and merchandising
Partner with tech/product teams to prioritize and ship platform improvements
Sales & P&L; Ownership
Own the website’s revenue targets, margins, and full P&L; — pricing, promotions,




discounting strategy, and cost efficiency
Track and report on key metrics: GMV, conversion rate, AOV, CAC, contribution margin,
inventory turns
Build monthly/quarterly business plans and forecasts; course-correct based on
performance
Brand & Vendor Management
Lead commercial negotiations with brand partners — margins, terms, marketing support,
exclusivity, and stock commitments
Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with brand and vendor partners
Ensure brand compliance with catalogue, pricing, and operational standards
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and grow a team across catalogue, site operations, and sales functions
Set goals, review performance, and build capability within the team
Foster a culture of ownership, speed, and accountability
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, supply chain/warehouse, customer service, and tech teams
to ensure smooth end-to-end operations
