Job Purpose: Responsible for developing and implementing effective safety strategies, policies, and procedures for the Surguja Cluster. Their primary objective is to achieve Zero incidents by implementing robust Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Integrated Management Systems (IMS), while also ensuring compliance with industry standards. They oversee the comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) programs,



manage safety initiatives, conduct audits, and coordinate emergency response plans to maintain a safe working setting and minimize risks in coal mining operations.

Responsibilities

Central or Site Safety Executive - Mining

Safety Management System

Develop and execute comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) programs for Coal Washeries within the Cluster.

Prepare annual safety plans and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.

Develop and maintain a safety training calendar for both Adani and contract employees, ensuring timely completion of safety training programs.

Conduct employee training sessions to disseminate safety protocols and implement best practices in various safety domains such as life safety, chemical safety, hazardous materials management, etc.
