Job Description – Front End QA Automation Engineer (Payments Domain)

Experience: 5–7 Years

Location: Chennai / Pune (Hybrid – 3 Days WFO) or Remote

Role Overview

We are looking for a Front End QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in eCommerce testing, payment gateway validation, and front-end automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience testing Salesforce Commerce/eCommerce applications, validating payment workflows, and building robust UI automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications.
Validate end-to-end payment gateway and payment processor integrations.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI automation testing.
Test Salesforce eCommerce applications and customer-facing web experiences.
Execute SQL queries to validate backend data and transactional integrity.
Develop and enhance automation scripts using Python.




Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvements.

Required Skills

5–7 years of Quality Engineering / QA Automation experience.
Strong experience in Front-End Web Automation.
Hands-on experience testing Salesforce eCommerce applications.
Experience validating payment gateways and payment processors.
Strong SQL knowledge for database validation.
Python scripting for automation.
Experience with web application testing, regression testing, and CI/CD environments.
Valuable understanding of Agile development methodologies.
