Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As the Deputy Manager - PPC within the Supply Chain Planning & Control division at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and advancing the production planning processes to achieve optimal operational efficiency and elevate customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing, monitoring, and controlling production schedules that align with business objectives and customer demands.
- Collaborating closely with product development teams to ensure seamless readiness of new products and manufacturing processes, facilitating a smooth transition from R&D; to production.
- Calculating precise requirements for labor, materials, and costs, alongside conducting comprehensive cost-benefit analyses to drive profitable manufacturing operations.
- Leading initiatives to innovate sourcing strategies and supply chain solutions when product designs diverge from existing approved methods, fostering adaptability within supply networks.




- Implementing continuous improvement methodologies to optimize production workflows and enhance supply chain responsiveness.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure alignment of production goals.
- Driving supplier development programs and fostering solid relationships with key stakeholders to support sustainable business outcomes.
- Maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements within the automotive manufacturing context.
- Utilising advanced production planning tools and software to forecast demands and manage inventory levels efficiently.
