As an Associate in the EMEA Emerging Markets Credit team, you will cover corporate and financial institution clients across the Emerging Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa regions. You will work closely with business partners across the region including Debt Capital Markets, Acquisition and Leveraged Finance, M&A;, Corporate Bank, Markets, Treasury Services, and Trade Finance. Given the broad sector and client base covered, we focus on performing credit analysis on investment grade and non-investment grade clients across corporates, financial institutions, and sovereign-related entities,



as well as structuring and documenting a wide variety of credit products.

Job responsibilities
- Serve as a primary credit expert for a portfolio of clients in the region, with primary responsibility for credit exposure.
- Manage clients across industries including corporates, financial institutions, and sovereign-related entities, including monitoring credit ratings, sector trends, and client performance.
- Lead due diligence, credit analysis, and financial modelling of counterparties, transactions, and complex financing structures; drive preparation of credit memos and recommend appropriate structure, risk appetite, and grading.
- Work across products including secured and unsecured loans, derivatives, trade and treasury products, and related documentation; support seniors on negotiation, and execution of loan documentation, derivatives, and other facilities.
