We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our technical office team. In this role, you will lead the back-office engineering, documentation, estimation, and technical compliance for Minor Irrigation Schemes, Earthen Dams, and Pipe Distribution Networks (PDN) under Soil and Water Conservation Department (SWCD) frameworks.

This position bridges technical engineering and office management—ensuring estimates, tender compliance, billing, and technical approvals strictly meet department standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Estimation & Approvals
- Prepare detailed Cost Estimates, Rate Analysis, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Earthen Dams, check dams, and Minor Irrigation projects adhering to the Schedule of Rates (DSR).
- Draft and submit comprehensive technical project reports to secure Administrative Approvals (AA) and Technical Sanctions (TS).
- Process structural and hydraulic calculations for Pipe Distribution Networks (PDN), including pipe sizing (HDPE/PVC), head-loss evaluations, and outlet planning.

Documentation & Billing Verification




- Review and verify Measurement Books (MB entries) submitted by field teams and contractors.
- Audit contractor bills, process interim/final payment certificates, and prepare extra-item statements and price variation claims.
- Compile progress reports, compliance documents, and spatial data for SWCD and government water conservation schemes.

Earthen Dam & Irrigation Desk Review
- Review cross-sectional drawings, embankment filling volume calculations, cutoff trench (COT) details, and seepage control proposals.
- Process variation orders and revised site layouts for approval by senior divisional engineers.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5+ years of civil engineering experience focusing on Minor Irrigation, Earthen Dams, PDN, or SWCD/Watershed projects.
- Key Technical Skills:
- Estimation, BOQ creation, and Rate
