Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and complete machines using 3D CAD software.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.
- Perform design calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, and material selection.
- Develop concepts based on customer requirements and project specifications.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, quality, and project teams to ensure successful product development.
- Support prototype development, machine assembly, testing, and commissioning.
- Review designs for manufacturability, cost optimization, and ease of maintenance.
- Participate in design reviews and implement engineering changes.
- Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and installation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety regulations, and company design practices.
- Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.
