Role Overview

The Finance & Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing the studio’s day-to-day accounting operations, vendor payments, client invoicing, statutory compliance, banking, reconciliations, financial reporting and project-wise financial tracking.

This role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, dependable and comfortable working in a dynamic production workplace where multiple projects run simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting
- Maintain accurate books of accounts using Zoho Books.
- Record sales invoices, purchase bills, receipts, payments and journal entries.
- Manage customer and vendor ledgers.
- Perform regular bank, cash and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain petty cash and imprest records.




- Ensure all financial records are updated accurately and on time.

Financial Operations
- Maintain and update the studio’s internal financial trackers and dashboards in Google Sheets.
- Track project-wise revenue, expenses, profitability and payment status.
- Ensure consistency between Zoho Books and internal financial records.
- Improve and maintain accounting workflows, documentation and financial SOPs.

Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor bills and client invoices.
- Prepare weekly vendor payment schedules.
- Track outstanding receivables and coordinate payment follow-ups.
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts.
- Coordinate with Client Servicing and Production teams for invoice approvals and payment releases.

Production Finance
- Verify project expenses against approved budgets.
- Track production advances, reimbursements and vendor settlements.
- Maintain project-wise cost recor
