MISSION

The Substation Protection and Control Design Engineer is responsible for the engineering, design, and implementation of protection, control, and automation systems for electrical substations.



This role ensures the safe, reliable, and effective operation of power systems by developing and delivering detailed technical solutions in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design protection and control schemes for high-voltage and medium-voltage substations.
- Develop detailed engineering documentation, including single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and functional logic.
- Specify and select protection relays, control equipment, and associated substation automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE) and client specifications.
- Perform coordination studies and contribute to protection settings definition in collaboration with system studies teams.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubles
