- Plan, supervise, and monitor daily paint shop operations.
- Ensure proper surface preparation, painting, and coating processes.
- Maintain paint quality, color consistency, and coating thickness as per specifications.
- Monitor and optimize paint consumption to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Troubleshoot paint defects such as peeling, blistering, orange peel, runs, and poor adhesion.
- Ensure proper operation and preventive maintenance of paint shop equipment, including spray booths, ovens, compressors, and conveyors.
- Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for painting processes.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.
- Coordinate with production, quality,



and maintenance teams to meet production targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and pollution control regulations.
- Train operators on painting techniques, equipment handling, and safety practices.
- Maintain production records, quality reports, and process documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
- Investigate customer complaints related to paint quality and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure proper inventory management of paints, thinners, chemicals, and other consumables.
