Role & responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end execution of all Technochem projects from order handover through design, manufacturing, dispatch, erection, commissioning and final customer handover.
- Establish and maintain the master project schedule for each order; freeze design milestones and drive adherence across departments.
- Chair internal project review meetings and customer review meetings; drive closure of open technical and commercial points before design freeze.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for customers on schedule, scope and quality matters.
- Prepare and own the project cost baseline against the sold order value BOM costing, bought-out items, fabrication, utilities, erection, transport, site expenses and contingency.
- Carry out ongoing project cost analysis: budget vs. actual tracking, variance analysis, and margin reporting to management on each running project.
- Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities design value engineering, alternate vendor development, material
- Lead,



allocate work to and develop a team of 2 direct reports (Project Coordinators / Site Engineers).
- Ensure project execution meets applicable statutory and safety norms including NFPA 33, CCOE/PESO, MPCB and Factory Act requirements as relevant to each installation.
- Maintain project documentation, handover dossiers and warranty records.

Preferred candidate profile
- 6-8 years in project management/execution of capital equipment or turnkey industrial plants; at least 3 years in a project ownership or team-lead capacity.
- Direct experience in surface finishing powder coating plants, paint shops, pre-treatment/phosphating lines, conveyors, industrial ovens or robotic painting — is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated capability in project costing, budget vs. actual control, margin analysis and value engineering.
- Sound understanding of mechanical fabrication, conveyor systems, PLC/HMI/SCADA-based controls and utility systems.
- Solid commercial acumen — able to read
