Job Description: Niagara Engineer (Mid-Level)

Industry: Building Management Systems (BMS) / Lighting Management Systems (LMS)
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Niagara Engineer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Niagara Framework-based BMS/LMS projects. The candidate will be responsible for engineering, programming, commissioning, and supporting smart building automation systems, ensuring efficient and reliable system performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop BMS/LMS solutions using Niagara Framework (N4 platform).
- Configure, program, and integrate field devices such as HVAC systems, lighting controls, meters, and other building systems.
- Develop graphics, dashboards, and user interfaces for monitoring and control.
- Execute system integration using protocols like BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, etc.
- Perform on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of BMS/LMS systems.
- Diagnose and resolve system faults, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with project managers, site teams,



and clients for smooth project execution.
- Prepare technical documentation, as-built drawings, and operation manuals.
- Support AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and service activities for deployed systems.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Technical Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience with Niagara N4 Framework
- Positive knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and building automation
- Experience in integrating third-party devices and systems
- Proficiency in communication protocols: BACnet, Modbus, KNX (preferred)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, routers, switches)
- Experience in graphics development and UI creation within Niagara
- Basic understanding of databases and reporting tools

Preferred Skills
- Niagara Certification (Tridium Certified preferred)
- Experience in LMS integration and energy monitoring systems
