Role Description
The Marathi Team Leader (Translation Project Manager) is a part-time, hybrid role based in New Delhi, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role involves overseeing Marathi translation projects end-to-end, including planning, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to meet quality and delivery standards. The team leader will coordinate with translators, reviewers, and technical teams,



provide feedback on language quality, and ensure consistency with established glossaries and style guidelines. Daily responsibilities include reviewing samples, resolving linguistic or formatting issues, communicating project updates to stakeholders, and optimizing workflows for efficiency. The role also includes contributing to process documentation, supporting onboarding of new Marathi linguists, and helping refine Lekhak’s AI-assisted translation capabilities for Marathi content.

Qualifications
- Strong command of Marathi and English, including grammar, spelling, and stylistic conventions, with proven experience in translation, editing, or linguistics.
