About the Role

We are looking for a Manual Software Test Specialist with a strong background in Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Automation domains to design, execute, and manage test cases for systems involving industrial protocols, microgrids, EV chargers, and SCADA-based environments. The ideal candidate combines domain knowledge with solid manual and automation testing fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis & Domain Understanding
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases to understand domain workflows and system behavior
- Build deep knowledge of domain rules, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Identify gaps/ambiguities in requirements; collaborate with BAs, Product Owners, and developers

Test Planning & Design
- Create test plans, test strategies,



and scenarios tailored to domain-specific processes
- Develop functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases
- Prepare and maintain test data aligned with business rules and edge cases

Test Execution
- Execute manual test cases and validate functional behavior against domain requirements
- Perform smoke, functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and UAT testing
- Validate data mapping, domain rules, calculations, and workflow processing

Defect Tracking & QA
- Log and track defects with transparent reproduction steps and domain context
- Work with developers on root cause and fixes; retest and validate no regression

Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain test artifacts (cases, checklists, scenarios) in test management tools
- Provide regular test execution status reports to stakeholders

Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Partner with domain SMEs, POs, and QA leads on coverage and
