Role & responsibilities -
- Conduct/cross verification route alignment and topographical surveys along the transmission line corridor.
- Perform tower spotting, check survey, profiling, and pegging as per engineering specifications.
- Use GPS, Total Station, Theodolite, Topo Sheets and other surveying instruments for precise measurements.
- Prepare and maintain survey records, drawings, maps, and reports.
- Coordinate with the engineering and construction teams to provide accurate land data.
- Validate survey data against approved drawings and identify discrepancies.
- Liaise with local authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders for right-of-way (ROW) and access requirements.




- Assist in land acquisition and ROW clearance processes through accurate land demarcation.
- Submit regular progress reports to the site management team

Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI in Surveying; certification in land surveying is an added advantage.
- 36 years of experience in surveying, preferably in transmission line or infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in using GPS, DGPS, Total Station, AutoCAD/Google Maps, and other survey-related software.
- Positive knowledge of land documentation, topographical features, and hilly terrain challenges.
