Role & responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist customers in selecting products and answer product-related queries.
- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Process billing and cash/card transactions accurately.
- Handle cash, POS machine, and maintain billing records.
- Replenish stock on shelves and ensure product availability.
- Arrange merchandise as per visual merchandising guidelines.
- Monitor product expiry dates and maintain FIFO (First In,



First Out) where applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the store.
- Receive stock deliveries and verify quantities.
- Report stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the Store Manager.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when required.
- Support promotional activities and in-store campaigns.
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Perform opening and closing store activities as assigned.

Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th Pass / Any Degree.
- Freshers or candidates with 2 years of experience in Retail, Bakery, QSR, Supermarket, or Hospitality are preferred.
- Customer-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of billing/POS operations is an added advantage.
