The Electrical Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components in kitchen equipment. The role requires technical expertise in electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to ensure the effective operation of electrical appliances used in kitchens. The Engineer will also provide on-site service and support to clients and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Setup: Install electrical systems and components for kitchen equipment, including commercial ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other electrical appliances.
- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance, including electrical components such as wiring, circuit boards, and control panels.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults or issues in kitchen equipment.
Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
- Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support to customers for electrical issues, ensuring high-quality customer service and resolution of electrical malfunctions.
- Inspection & Testing: Conduct inspections and testing of electrical components and systems to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Upgrades & Modifications: Recommend and carry out upgrades or modifications to improve the functionality and efficiency of kitchen equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, including installation details, maintenance logs, and reports on repairs or replacements.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
