Job Summary:
The School Safety Compliance Officer plans, organizes, and implements district-wide or campus-specific security protocols regarding student services items and district risk-prevention plans. The overarching goal is to ensure compliance with state mandates, provide visible support in the area of school safety and safeguard students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
This position will also be responsible for working to organize and implement plans to improve district operations in the following areas:
- Student Attendance - including truancy enforcement
- Residency Verification
- Homeless/Foster Items
- School Safety / Cybersecurity
- Issues related to HIB
- Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
- Degree or certifications preferred: Examples; School Administration, Criminal Justice,



Safety Management, or a closely related field is highly desired.
- Skilled experience: A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in school administration, law enforcement, military security, or public sector occupational health and safety compliance.
- Administrative and/or law enforcement background: Candidates who are retired law enforcement officers in good standing or hold valid state peace officer certifications will be highly considered.
