Onboarding HR Executive & Sr Executive

Location : Ambit IT Park - Ambattur - Chennai

Role Overview

The Onboarding HR is responsible for delivering a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for all recent hires from Day1 to successful integration into the organization. The role partners closely with Talent Acquisition, HRBP, Operations, Learning & Development, IT, and Payroll teams to ensure onboarding readiness, compliance, employee engagement, and improved new-hire retention.

Key Responsibilities

Joining Readiness
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities from Day 1 joining to payroll processing.
- Ensure completion of joining documentation and background verification requirements.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to complete joining readiness checks and communicate onboarding schedules.

Employee Onboarding
- Facilitate induction and orientation programs for current hires.
- Ensure seamless integration into teams and business units.

Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with:
- Talent Acquisition teams
- Hiring Managers
- HRBP
- Operations
- IT & Facilities




- Learning & Development
- Payroll & HR Operations
- Ensure all onboarding dependencies are completed before employee start dates.

Employee Experience & Engagement
- Act as the primary HR contact for new employees during their onboarding journey.
- Conduct onboarding feedback surveys and analyze employee experience metrics.
- Organize welcome initiatives and engagement activities.
- Support cultural integration and employee Leadership connect program.

HR Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and audit requirements.
- Maintain employee records and onboarding documentation.
- Monitor background verification, policy acknowledgments and statutory compliance.

Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report:
- New hire satisfaction scores
- Onboarding completion metrics
- BGV Insufficiency and closure
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving onboarding e
