Job Summary

St. Joseph International School for Excellence is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and skilled Chemistry Teacher. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore the chemical sciences through inquiry-based teaching, practical laboratory sessions, and interactive learning. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive lesson plans, managing the chemistry laboratory, and fostering holistic student growth in alignment with our institution’s values.

Key Responsibilities
- Academic Instruction:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging chemistry lessons in accordance with the school curriculum standards.
- Simplify complex chemical concepts (Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry) through real-world applications and demonstrations.




- Prepare students for board examinations through mock tests, revision cycles, and detailed feedback.
- Laboratory Management & Safety:
- Direct and supervise practical laboratory experiments, ensuring safety guidelines are strictly followed.
- Maintain chemical inventory, laboratory equipment, and apparatus.
- Teach students proper handling of laboratory equipment and chemical reagents.
- Student Assessment & Support:
- Design assignments, practical assessments, tests, and periodic exams.
- Monitor individual student progress and offer remedial support for students needing extra guidance.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss academic progress and student performance.
- Co-curricular & Institutional Duties:
- Organize science fairs, exhibitions, and competitive science olympiads.
- Actively participate in faculty meetings, orientation programs, and professional development workshops.
- Support day-boarding/boarding duties and co-curricula
