POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment)
- Serve as the legal point of contact for the Internal Committee (IC); support/coordinate inquiries end-to-end
- Draft and maintain the POSH policy; ensure it stays aligned with the 2013 Act and evolving case law
- Guide IC members on procedure, principles of natural justice, evidence handling, and report drafting
- Conduct POSH awareness sessions and IC capability training for employees and managers
- Own annual POSH reporting to the District Officer and the disclosure in the Board's report
- Manage complaint documentation, timelines, and confidentiality protocols

Labour & Employment Law
- Advise on the Industrial Disputes Act, Shops & Establishments Acts, Contract Labour (R&A;) Act, Factories Act, and the current Labour Codes
- Ensure statutory compliance across PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Maternity Benefit, Minimum Wages, and Equal Remuneration
- Draft and vet employment contracts, offer letters, NDAs, non-competes, PIPs, warning letters, and separation agreements
- Handle disciplinary proceedings, domestic inquiries, show-cause notices,



terminations, and exits
- Manage labour inspections, notices from authorities, and liaise with Labour Commissioner offices
- Support litigation before Labour Courts, Industrial Tribunals, and appellate forums; brief and manage external counsel

Advisory & Governance
- Partner with HR on restructuring, layoffs, transfers, and policy rollouts
- Conduct periodic compliance audits and maintain compliance trackers/registers
- Track legislative and judicial developments and translate them into practical business guidance

Preferred candidate profile

Requirements
- LL.B. from a recognised university; enrolment with a State Bar Council preferred
- 34 years of post-qualification experience in employment/labour law (in-house or law firm)
- Working knowledge of the POSH Act, 2013 and the POSH Rules; hands-on IC experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Central and State labour legislation and the fou
