Job Summary

The Senior Panel Wiring Technician is responsible for electrical panel wiring, assembly, testing, and installation of control panels for SPM automation and industrial automation systems. The candidate should be able to read electrical drawings, perform neat panel wiring, and ensure quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform wiring and assembly of electrical control panels.
- Read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Mount electrical components such as MCBs, MCCBs, Contactors, Relays, SMPS, PLCs, VFDs, and Terminal Blocks.
- Route, label, and terminate wires as per drawings.
- Conduct continuity, insulation, and functional testing of panels.
- Troubleshoot wiring issues and rectify faults.
- Maintain panel quality and ensure proper documentation.




- Follow electrical safety standards and 5S practices.
- Support machine installation and commissioning when required.
- Coordinate with Design, PLC, and Production teams.

Required Skills
- Electrical panel wiring and assembly
- Reading electrical drawings and schematics
- Cable dressing, ferruling, and crimping
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo Drives, and Sensors
- Use of electrical testing tools (Multimeter, Megger, Clamp Meter)
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Positive teamwork and communication

Preferred Skills
- Experience in SPM Automation or Industrial Automation
- Knowledge of control panel standards
- Understanding of electrical safety practices
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
