Position: Sales Officer - Modern Trade

Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Officer - Modern Trade to drive business growth across key modern trade accounts and retail chains. The role involves achieving sales targets, managing customer relationships, ensuring product availability, coordinating order processing and timely deliveries, executing promotional activities, and maintaining solid in-store visibility. The position also requires close coordination with buyers, category managers, warehouse, logistics, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, stock replenishment, and business expansion within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:
- Achieve monthly sales targets as per business plans.
- Increase product availability, sales volume, and market share across assigned modern trade accounts.
- Track sales performance regularly and take necessary actions to improve results.

Key Account Handling:




- Maintain strong relationships with modern trade customers and key accounts.
- Coordinate effectively with buyers, category managers, and store teams to ensure smooth business operations.
- Support account growth by identifying opportunities for sales expansion.

Order & Supply Coordination:
- Ensure timely order collection, processing, and execution.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams for on-time deliveries.
- Follow up on pending orders, replenishment requirements, and stock movement.

Inventory & Stock Management:
- Monitor stock availability at stores and distribution centers (DCs).
- Minimize out-of-stock situations and ensure continuous product availability.
- Track product expiry, damages, returns, and stock discrepancies.

Promotions & Visibility:
- Execute promotional activities, trade offers, and in-store display initiatives.
- Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and merchandising standards in stores.
