About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and culturally attuned social media manager who is fluent in Kannada and English. This role is ideal for someone who understands the Kannada-speaking audience deeply and can create content that resonates locally while aligning with broader brand goals. You will own our regional social presence, craft compelling narratives in Kannada, and drive meaningful engagement across platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish bilingual (Kannada + English) social media content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter/X.
- Develop a regional content calendar that aligns with local festivals, cultural events, and Karnataka-specific trends and pan-Indian trends.
- Write captions, scripts, and copies natively in Kannada, not just translated content.
- Collaborate with design and video teams to produce region-relevant reels, stories, and short-form videos.




- Monitor comments and DMs, responding promptly in Kannada and English.
- Run and optimize paid social campaigns targeting Karnataka audiences.
- Track KPIs (reach, engagement, follower growth) and report weekly insights.
- Stay on top of Kannada pop culture, regional news, and trending topics for real-time marketing opportunities.
- Coordinating with influencers and regional creators to expand brand reach.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, mass communication, journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on social media management experience.
- Native or near-native fluency in Kannada mandatory.
- Strong command of English for cross-functional communication and reporting.
- Proficiency in social media tools: Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar.
