Job Summary

Bal Pharma Ltd. is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Formulation R&D; to join its Formulation Research & Development team. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in the development of Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) formulations for Europe, ROW, and Indian regulated markets. This role involves leading formulation development activities, supporting technology transfer, troubleshooting commercial products, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Formulation R&D; activities for Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) products.
- Develop formulations for Europe, ROW, and Indian regulated markets in compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Review analytical data, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), and process validation reports.




- Possess a good understanding of Bioequivalence (BE) studies and their significance in regulated markets.
- Identify and troubleshoot formulation and process-related issues for commercial products.
- Support and participate in technology transfer activities from R&D; to manufacturing.
- Prepare, review, and maintain technical documents, including Master Formula Records (MFR) and Product Development Reports (PDR).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Analytical R&D;, Production, QA, QC, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure successful project execution.
- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall development of the FR&D; team.
- Demonstrate effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Qualifications & Experience
- M.Pharm / MSc / PhD in Pharmaceutics or a related discipline.
- 7–10
