Role Purpose

The Lead Solution Architect is responsible for defining, governing, and delivering Yapays end-to-end technical architecture. This role will work closely with the Founder, lead the engineering team, oversee integration with Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) partners, and ensure the platform is secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with the company’s long-term vision.
- Design the end-to-end architecture for the Yapay platform.
- Define application, integration, data, and infrastructure architecture.
- Establish architectural standards, principles, and best practices.
- Produce and maintain architecture documentation and decision records.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience
- 10+ years in software engineering,



with at least 5 years in solution architecture or technical leadership.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale, cloud-native platforms.
- Proven track record leading engineering teams from concept to production.
- Previous experience in a startup or scale-up workplace is highly desirable.

Domain Experience

Strong preference for candidates with experience in one or more of:
- Digital banking
- Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS)
- Payment platforms
- FinTech
- Core banking
- Digital wallets
- Card issuing
- Payment gateways
- Real-time payment systems
