Job Summary

Coforge is looking for an experienced AS400 Developer with solid expertise in IBM iSeries/AS400 application development, support, and enhancement. The candidate should have hands-on experience in RPG programming, CL programming, DB2/400, and production support activities. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on IBM AS400 (iSeries) platform.
- Design and code using RPG IV, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Perform application debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.




- Participate in production support and incident resolution.
- Develop and maintain interfaces between AS400 and external applications.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow SDLC processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in AS400/iSeries Development.
- Hands-on experience with:
- RPG III / RPG IV
- RPGLE / SQLRPGLE
- CL / CLLE
- DB2/400
- Query/400
- SDA, RLU, DFU

- Knowledge of embedded SQL and database concepts.
- Experience in application maintenance and support.
- Good understanding of SDLC, change management, and release processes.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
