WE’RE HIRING | ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – ENGLISH | PW DIGITAL UNIVERSITY We are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Professor – English to join our academic team for the BA English & MA English programmes. Role: Assistant Professor – English Programmes: BA English & MA English Work Mode: WFH for initial 1–2 months, followed by relocation to Patiala ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Bachelor's degree ( BA English or equivalent ) in a relevant field. • Master's degree ( MA English or equivalent ) with minimum 55% marks . • D. or UGC-NET/SLET/SET qualification in English/relevant discipline. • EXPERIENCE – MANDATORY • University-level teaching experience is mandatory. • Relevant teaching experience in English Literature / English Language . • Candidates with experience in an Online/Digital University will be highly preferred.
• Experience in curriculum development, academic content creation and LMS-based teaching will be an added advantage. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Develop and review curriculum, SLMs, e-content, assessments & academic resources . • Conduct live online classes and provide academic support to learners. • Contribute to curriculum design, assessments and academic quality initiatives. • Ensure academic content quality, originality and compliance with applicable UGC requirements . • Collaborate with academic and faculty teams to enhance course delivery. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Candidates must be willing to work from home for the initial 1–2 months and relocate to Patiala thereafter.
