Job Title: Active Directory Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Active Directory Engineer to support and manage enterprise-scale Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in on-premises AD, Entra ID, and Hybrid Identity environments, along with excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure in large enterprise environments.
- Administer environments with multiple Domain Controllers (2+ DCs) and 10,000+ Active Directory users.
- Perform day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance of on-premises Active Directory.
- Manage and support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure AD Connect / Microsoft Entra Connect Sync.
- Support Hybrid Identity environments and resolve synchronization and authentication issues.
- Troubleshoot AD-related issues including user authentication, replication, DNS, Group Policy, account/access issues, and Domain Controller health.
- Participate in Active Directory infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution.
- Work closely with US-based stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and resolve incidents.
- Follow enterprise security, access management,



and operational best practices.
- Maintain appropriate technical documentation for AD and Hybrid Identity environments.

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Active Directory administration and engineering.
- Robust hands-on experience with On-Premises Active Directory.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
- Experience supporting large-scale AD environments with 10,000+ users.
- Experience managing multiple Domain Controllers (2+ DCs).
- Strong knowledge of Hybrid Identity.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AD Connect / Microsoft Entra Connect Sync.
- Strong Active Directory troubleshooting and administration skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

- Experience in Financial Services or Healthcare environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise identity and access management practices.
- Experience troubleshooting AD replication, DNS, Group Policy, authentication, and synchronization issues.
- Experience working with geographically distributed/global teams.
