Akash Cable is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Executive to manage customer receivables, payment follow-ups, billing-related activities, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting processes and be comfortable handling customer accounts and outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounts receivable and collection activities.
- Prepare and maintain customer invoices and outstanding statements.
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Follow up with customers regarding overdue invoices and outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate records of receipts, payments, and customer transactions.
- Perform customer ledger reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the sales and accounts teams regarding customer payments and credit issues.
- Prepare accounts receivable ageing reports and collection reports.
- Verify invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and payment entries.
- Update accounting records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Assist in month-end closing and reporting activities.
- Handle customer queries related to invoices, payments, and account statements.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and internal controls.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable and basic accounting principles.
- Positive working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience in accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime or similar systems.
- Good knowledge of ledger reconciliation and payment tracking.
- Strong follow-up and communication skills.
- Good numerical and analytical ability.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate in B.Com, M.Com, or a related field.
- 2 4 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable / Accounts / Finance.
- Candidates with experience in trading, manufacturing, cable, electrical, or distribution companies will be preferred.
- Should be responsible, organized, and capable of independently handling receivables activities.
