Key Responsibilities
MIM Administration & Engineering
Manage and support Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) infrastructure in production environments.
Design, implement, and maintain MIM synchronization services, portals, workflows, and connectors.
Develop and maintain inbound and outbound synchronization rules.
Configure and troubleshoot Management Agents (MAs) for various connected systems.
Perform MIM upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Identity Lifecycle Management
Design and implement Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes.
Automate user provisioning, deprovisioning, role assignments, and access certification processes.
Manage identity synchronization across Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, HR systems, and business applications.
Ensure timely user lifecycle management aligned with security policies.
Integration & Automation
Integrate MIM with:
o Active Directory
o Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
o LDAP Directories
o SQL Databases
o HR Systems
o Third-party applications
Develop PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to streamline IAM operations.
Configure custom connectors using ECMA2 and .NET development where required.
Security & Governance
Implement and maintain role-based access control (RBAC).
Support Identity Governance and compliance initiatives.
Participate in security audits and regulatory compliance activities.
Review privileged access assignments and access controls.
Ensure adherence to security best practices and organizational policies.
Incident & Problem Management
Act as L3 escalation point for critical IAM incidents and service requests.
Perform root cause analysis for identity synchronization and provisioning failures.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex identity management issues.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams for issue resolution.
Documentation & Leadership
Prepare HLD, LLD, SOPs, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical guidance.
Conduct KT sessions and support transition activities.
Participate in project planning, solution reviews, and architecture discussions.
