Summary

Customer Service

- Delivers the brand promise and provides exceptional guest service at all times.
- Provides excellent service to internal customers as appropriate.
- Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner. Feedback guest complaints to Team Leader – Housekeeping/ Assistant Manager promptly.
- Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with positive working relationships.

Operational

- Ensures all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate
- Grow or order flowers from wholesalers to ensure an adequate supply to meet customers' needs
- Plan arrangement according to client's requirements, utilizing knowledge of design and properties of materials, or select appropriate standard design pattern Recommend flowers and greenery for each arrangement
- Consider the customer’s budget when making recommendations




- Design floral displays that evoke a particular sentiment or style
- Answer telephones as per the hotels minimum standards
- Cleanliness and maintenance of the Flower Room
- liaising with various departments within the hotel to perform daily floral responsibilities

Personnel

- Supports the implementation of The Hyatt Purpose of “Care for people so they can be their best”

Other Duties

- Attends and contributes to all Meetings as required.
- Understands and strictly adheres to Rules and Regulations established in the Employee Handbook and the hotel's policies concerning fire, hygiene, health and safety.

Other Duties

- Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
- Responds to changes in the Housekeeping function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
- Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
- Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
