Required Skills / Experience
· 5 to 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on Business Functional Testing tailored for USA clients.
· Strong expertise in QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, with hands-on experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
· Experience in Audit domains specific to the USA market is highly desirable.
· Solid understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the USA, including SOX, GAAP, GAAS, and IRS regulations.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
· Validate the accuracy and integrity of financial data, transaction records, and reporting mechanisms, with a focus on detecting anomalies, errors, or fraudulent activities.
· Collaborate with internal audit teams and external auditors to define test objectives, scope, and criteria, and facilitate the resolution of audit findings and recommendations.
· Develop and execute test cases to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance frameworks.
· Participate in requirement gathering sessions, contributing domain expertise to translate business needs into actionable testing strategies, scenarios, and test cases.
· Proactively identify opportunities for test automation, working closely with Team Leads and automation engineers to develop and maintain automated test scripts, accelerate testing cycles, and improve productivity.
· Analyze test results and user feedback, providing valuable insights and recommendations for product improvement and refinement, with a focus on addressing domain-specific pain points and enhancing functionality.
· Collaborate with developers, product managers,
and business analysts to verify implementation against requirements, ensuring alignment with SME needs and regulatory compliance.
· Assist in troubleshooting issues reported by users, providing timely resolutions or workarounds, and contributing to the resolution of defects identified during testing.
· Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation related to testing processes, test cases, and user guides, ensuring clarity and completeness for stakeholders and end-users.
· Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing, and audit domain, continuously expanding domain knowledge and expertise.
Desired Skills
· Post-graduation degree in Finance, Auditing, or a related field, with a strong understanding of Audit principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
· Prior experience in software testing preferred, with a demonstrated ability to apply domain expertise to testing activities and product enhancement suggestions.
· Familiarity with test planning, execution, and defect management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA), along with experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and engage with SMEs to gather requirements and feedback.
· Eagerness to learn and adapt to recent technologies and methodologies, with a passion for continuous improvement and professional development.
· Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) and experience in Agile or DevOps environments are desirable but not mandatory.
